The Frazier Park/ Mt. Pinos area, at the top of the infamous "Grapevine", is EASY TO GET TO on I-5, and one of the most diverse, naturally beautiful filming location regions in this part of the state. Numerous major productions, commercials and music videos have been filmed in our neighborhood. Locations range from quaint, western mining towns to ranch-style estates, golf courses and backcountry lakes, streams and vistas. Filming in Kern County, where we are located, is a breeze, compared to lengthy permit processing elsewhere. The Kern County Film Commission has a fast-track permit system that is supported by county agencies, and by local Forest Service and State Parks offices.
