Bike Frazier Park!

Frazier Park is home to So. Calif.'s most exciting outdoor recreation opportunities and a GREAT small-town atmosphere!  We hope you find the links to info you need on this, our Home Page, or at Internet Outdoors Unlimited .  If you need other details, please email us or call 661-245-3438.  Be sure to review the link at the top of the page for the ongoing project to modify the General and Specific Plans for the Frazier Park area.  This plan will set the economic, recreation and aesthetic tone for our town for the next 20 years.  GET INVOLVED!

Our community is located on the eastern edge of the Los Padres National Forest, next to 8,000 ft. Frazier Mtn. and Mt. Pinos.  We are on top of the famous "Grapevine" at 4,500ft., halfway between Los Angeles and Bakersfield, just off I-5.  We invite you to visit our community, participate in the most diversified recreation in this part of the Golden State., breathe our clean, cool air and enjoy our four seasons. You can find a preliminary look at recreation and other facts about our area by clicking on the Visitors Bureau link on the left.  Other internet info is shown Here

If you come up to visit in the winter, check the links to the left first for current weather conditions and forecasts, the snow report, local weathercams and other road-related info.   We get a BUNCH of snow; it is always cold!  Dress warm and be prepared for quick changes in the weather; bring those chains or a 4WD vehicle.  Don't forget our annual Christmas Faire in December!

Our falls, springs and summers are gorgeous, to say the least.  Temps are usually in the 70's to 80's during the day and 40 to 50 at nite.  Spring gives us running streams, great native trout fishing and beautiful poppies; fall displays bright, exquisite colors on the local oaks; summer is perfect for outdoor fun, mountain biking, hiking, an escape from the smog and congestion, as well as for our annual Fiesta Days celebration during the first weekend in August........

Our town is growing, but because of land/area constraints around us, we will always be a small, friendly community.  Much redevelopment has occurred over the last 10 years, and more will happen with the implementation of the new Specific Plan.  However, we take pride in a small, home-town atmosphere, our schools, our community park, low crime, quiet evenings, beautiful stars and our ties to the local natural environment.  The PERFECT place to raise a family!  email us or call 661-245-3438 for more info.

Please visit us our website again soon; we plan major changes to this page as time allows.  Contact us if you would like to advertise or place a link on this page.  Be sure to click on the Frazier Park Mall link to the left for more links to local businessed and information services.

Thanks for thinking of Frazier Park!  We think you will like our town.
