  Lockwood Creek Falls
A two-mile hike up from the end of Boy Scout Camp Road in Lockwood Valley, the trailhead of the Lilly Meadows trail brings you to this rather impressive waterfall on the North Fork of Lockwood Creek. This is one of the three falls that give Camp Three Falls its name.

The lower portion of Lilly Meadows, and about the only section that qualifies as a true meadow.

The ridge in this view is what passes as the "Pothole Trail" to Devil's Potrero and... The Pothole. They're an odd pair of basins in the southern Los Padres National Forest, at the eastern edge of Ventura County.

This little cascade of water is called Strawberry Spring.  This water source, nestled in a shaded canyon on the side of (what else?) Strawberry Peak at about 4800 feet (1480 meters) above sea level, provides a heavenly break from the mostly shadeless slopes you hike to get here.
