Waxing and tuning your board is
vital to getting a fast ride and large air, so don't neglect it. Freestyle riders need to
pay special attention to the base of their board, as it's often getting slid along
non-base-friendly things like rails, pipes, funboxes and more. Treat your base right and
it'll treat you right. There are three basic steps for enjoying your ride even
more: 1. Keep your base clean The best thing you can do for your board to maintain good glides is to keep it clean. A clean base glides better. You should give the base a good cleaning with a base cleaner. Advantages: For the alpine race For the free rider For the beginner Waxing your board is the final touch to maximise your ride. You can choose between a wide range of waxes, from the ultimate in speed, our Cera Nova Line, to the high performance fluorinated universal wax line - F4. |
See below for products,

Cera
Nova |
The
Most Advanced Glide Wax System In spite of different velocities and equipment, our
scientific examinations confirm that this System covers all ski and snowboard disciplines.
The Cera Nova System is based upon the latest wax technology and modification of
fluorocarbons. After five years in existence, it has a leading market position and is the
first choice of the servicemen and the ski factories. The formulas are designed for use on natural and man-made
snow. Many races now involve artificial snow or a combination of man-made and natural snow
mixed together that is machine altered by tracksetting machines. The waxes for cold snow
contain higher amounts of hard, brittle, synthetic paraffins. Swix leads the field
in perfecting the use of these types of paraffins. The Cera Nova formulas have been under development for a long period of time and are tested and proven at the highest levels of racing. Swix has tested waxes on its' own test tracks in Europe, Japan, and North America. And .........SWIX waxes have a long-standing, proven record for success on the World Cup level. |

Nordic/XC Ski Products:
For better performance! For all temperatures! Avoid icing! Like waxable skis, waxless xc skis require maintenance. Waxless ski bases can dry out, causing the base to oxidize and absorb dirt. Dirty, oxidized skis are slower and harder to turn, creating more work for the skier. Swix Easy Glide and Base Cleaner will solve this problem. Use these products to refurbish old waxless ski bases also. |
