The chili is the first binding to incorporate an asymmetricaly shaped toe plate. This design increases edge-to-edge responsiveness, making turn initiation faster and more stable, not to mention the peace of mind you'll feel when your ski run resembles an ice climb. A reinforcement bar positioned across the front of the toe plate adds stability and brawn, perfect for aggressive, big foot skiers who really pound their bindings. Two springs on either side of the cable provide more than enough "snap" to deliver ski to boot during a long series of hop and hopes. Voile Release Kits Voile release kits allow you to mount most nordic norm bindings to a release plate.  The release plate is held in place by a spring-loaded piston.  The piston presses into a return-to-center indent in the front of the plate and is held in the back by a semi-circular anti-friction plate.  High quality nylon and heat-treated parts give the skier lightweight dependability and piece of mind.
